Tria Federal Successfully Achieves ISO Re-Certifications

Tria Federal announced that it has successfully recertified with ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO 9001:2015.

June 8, 2023 (Arlington, VA) — Tria Federal (Tria), the premier middle-market IT and Advisory services provider delivering digital transformation to Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence agencies across the federal sector, today announced that it has successfully recertified with ISO 20000-1:2018 (IT Service Management System), ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management System), and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System). The extensive three-day audit was performed by Foundation for Policy and Governance (FPG).

This marks the integrated government services platform’s first ISO audit and re-certification in its new name, Tria Federal. However, Tria’s wholly-owned subsidiaries Favor TechConsulting LLC (FTC) and Universal Consulting Services (UCS) had successfully achieved and maintained these certifications multiple times over more than a decade  – UCS since 2012 and FTC since 2016 (FTC).

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards to ensure products and services consistently meet customer needs, comply to regulatory requirements, and conform to rigorous benchmarks for quality. The ISO family of certifications represent a company’s long-term commitment to outstanding quality, commitment to continuous process improvement, and high customer satisfaction.

“This recognition is quite an achievement and represents so much more than a checking boxes for a stamp of approval; this is a reflection of the Tria team’s deep, ongoing corporate commitment to applying the highest quality standards to our processes, procedures and – most importantly – in the high level of service we provide to our customers,” commented Tria CEO Tim Borchert. “These certifications are well-deserved recognition of our team’s considerable efforts to create, implement and sustain complex and synergistic systems and processes that meet internationally recognized standards of excellence.”
