April 28, 2023 (ARLINGTON, VA) — The OnCon Icon Awards today announced its 2023 honorees across a range of categories. Conducted by OnConferences, an association for executives across a wide range of fields, the OnCon Icon Awards recognize top executives in the world as voted on by their peers. Among the honorees for Top Talent Acquisition leaders in the world, two leaders of Tria’s high-performing Talent Acquisition team were named: Vice President Talent Acquisition Pedram Rastegar ranked #2 in the list of Top 10 Talent Acquisition Professionals recognized, and Director of Talent Acquisition Jessica Jewart was named #20 among the Top 50 Talent Acquisition Professional Award Winners. This is the second consecutive year for both Pedram and Jessica to receive this recognition; both Pedram and Jessica were honored with OnCon Icon Talent Acquisition Professional Awards in 2022.
An innovative, high-energy leader with deep experience working with companies large and small across a range of industries throughout his career, Pedram joined Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) in 2016 and advanced to Vice President, Talent Acquisition in 2019. Following FTC’s acquisition and integration with Federal Advisory Partners (F|A|P) and Universal Consulting Services (UCS) in 2022, Pedram successfully led the unification and optimization efforts for the integrated platform’s high-performing Talent Acquisition department before the platform rebranded as Tria Federal (Tria) in March, 2023. As Tria’s Vice President Talent Acquisition, overseeing a diverse and dedicated team of Talent Acquisition professionals, Pedram’s passion for strategic workforce planning, talent cultivation, engagement and retention, and exceeding business goals continues to foster exceptional growth across the company’s broad IT and Advisory portfolio.
An energetic leader with more than a decade of experience leading staffing initiatives across the IT industry, Jessica Jewart has been integral to FTC’s growing workforce since 2018. Jessica holds multiple AIRS certifications and is an active Career and leadership Coach, mentor with the global Women In Tech (WIT) movement, and a member of the National Association of Women Sales Professionals (NAWSP) among others. Jessica also played a key role overseeing the successful integration of the F|A|P – FTC – UCS platform’s Talent Acquisition team, helping to transition staff, systems, operations, and processes into one unified, optimized, and top-performing department before the platform rebranded as Tria in March, 2023.
