What’s your favorite part of working at Tria?

I appreciate having a supportive supervisor who can draw from his own years of experience with our client, making his leadership extremely valuable to our team. I also highly value Tria’s solid work-life balance and the regular communication from Tria’s leadership.

What are a couple of accomplishments during your time at Tria that you are proud of?

I was recognized by the client earlier this year for exceptional leadership and for supporting DHS’ systems. The formal recognition was so meaningful for me.

I was also able provide direct support in supply chain risk management for our client. Helping the customer solve difficult problems and achieve new goals has given me and hopefully the team a sense of accomplishment and success.

How do you create a sense of teamwork with coworkers?

In a mostly remote work environment, I create a sense of teamwork by providing opportunities to share ideas and problem-solve together, while giving team members space to find new ways to solve problems on their own.

Additionally, I strongly encourage my team to participate in our twice-yearly onsite collaboration days at one of Tria’s offices, which enable us to foster teamwork and friendship in a face-to-face environment.

What do you do in your free time?

Besides going on adventures with my family, I love to take walks, read mystery/thriller books, and take yoga classes. I find that yoga centers me and gives me positive energy to start the day. I begin each morning with a 5- to 10-minute yoga session, and that consistency makes a difference for me.

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

Taking classical piano lessons as a child and young adult gave me an appreciation of music in a variety of forms. I enjoy attending orchestra, band, vocal, and other musical performances.

How do you find purpose in your role?

I find purpose in my role by paving new avenues of growth for my team. I also find great satisfaction in learning and participating in new experiences while managing systems that directly support highlevel government operations.
